Q. I don't have a credit card, can I send a money order or check?
A: Yes! Simply click here for our mail order form and return it to us at the address on the bottom of the form.
Q. Can I Use PayPal?
A: The option to pay with PayPal is coming soon. Please check back with us periodically for updates.
Q. Can I order the Liberty Seed Vault if I live outside the USA?
A: Due to the sheer volume of governmental red tape involved for international shipment of seeds through customs, we are only able to ship the Liberty Seed Vault to customers residing within the USA or Canada.
Q. Is It Safe To Buy Online?
A: Buying online is absolutely one of the safest ways to shop! SSL Certificates authenticate our identity, and encrypt the information visitors enter on our site. This keeps thieves from "overhearing" any exchange between our Web page and another computer. When an SSL Certificate is installed, you can rest assured that the information you send is secured and can't be viewed by cyber crooks.
Our SSL certificate enables the browser and Web server to build a secure, encrypted connection. The SSL "handshake" process, which establishes the secure session, takes place discreetly behind the scenes without interrupting your shopping experience. A padlock icon in the browser's status bar and the "https://" prefix in the URL are the only visible indications of a secure session in progress.
The SurvivalSeeds4Patriots checkout page is secured with a GoDaddy.com Web Server Certificate. Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. Encryption means that all data transmitted is scrambled so even if something went awry, it would be meaningless to any unintended receiver.
We use a third-party credit card processor that meets the strictest international standards for data security to manage our credit card payments, so no one ever has access to your credit card information. We do NOT keep your credit card number on file.
We at SurvivalSeeds4Patriots understand that you are trusting us with your financial safety when you purchase from us online. We have done everything that is currently possible to ensure that you information is safe from beginning to end and we thank you for your confidence in us.
Q. How Do I Open And View The Bonus Materials?
A: Once you've downloaded the manuals to your computer, you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. Don't worry, Adobe Acrobat Reader costs nothing and it's already installed on most computers. If you don't have it or for some reason your book still won't open, please visit www.Adobe.com to download the newest version and install it. Q: What is the best way to store my seed vaults?
A: The seed vault can be stored for five years minimum at room temperature. The rule of thumb with seed storage when they are properly packaged (as they are in your Liberty Seed Vault) is that the lower the temperature, the longer the shelf life.
Refrigeration is the preferred method. The seed vault cans were actually designed to fit inside the door of a standard size refrigerator; if placed in the fridge one can expect a shelf life of approximately 15 years. There is no need for freezing, as it is not necessary and adds very little real benefit compared to refrigeration.
Q: Can I open a seed packet and use some seeds without harming the longevity of the rest of the seeds in that packet so that they can be used at a much later date?
A: The seed packets do have the built in zip closure so they can be re-sealed for continued storage once opened, however the shelf life will be reduced slightly once the packet has been unsealed.
Q: How big is the Liberty Seed Vault?
A: The metal canister is approximately 7.5 inches high and 4 inches in diameter.
Q: What are your return policies and instructions?
A: If for any reason you're dissatisfied at any time during the first 60 days after purchase, simply return the product and ask for a full refund. You'll get your money back. That's a firm promise and commitment. Please see this page for full return instructions.
Q: I live in Alaska. Do you have any history with your seed package being used in the Alaska interior? We have a 3-month growing season, sometimes longer, and up to 22 hours of sunlight in June.
A: Alaskans face many challenges that are not present in the mainland states. Most Alaskans who practice self-sufficiency have found many ways to adapt to their limitations, mainly using greenhouse growing, that allow them the same growing season as someone down here.
In Alaska, planting the seeds straight out of the can and into the garden will probably yield a 50% success rate on the included varieties, but with the little extra work required to live in our last true frontier, this can increase to a 90% success rate.
